I just love street photography and where better in the world to capture the weird and wonderful than in the centre of Manhattan in New York. I was treated by my partner to a birthday trip, with my camera for a week in New York, what a treat! Shooting from the hip so as not to be seen, I just loved waking around the neighbourhoods and soaking up the atmosphere. It really is an amazing city, with such weird and wonderful people.
