Eilean Donan Castle Wedding of James & Becki

James is a wedding photographer and found me on the Fearless Photographers website which we are both members of.  James wanted to find “the perfect photographer”, (his words not mine!) to capture his wedding day love story with his beautiful wife to be and mother of his children Becki.  The couple are from Orkney and chose to marry at the most photographed castle in the world Eilean Donan Castle in Skye.  Such a breathtaking setting to marry at and they had just a small selection of their nearest and dearest there to witness their marriage and join in the celebrations with them.  The day was a scorcher up in Skye at almost 30 degrees and as you can imagine full of tourists in and out of the castle and grounds. But at 6pm on 26th May 2018 the castle closed to let this lovely couple join in marriage.

I was in my element at this wedding, not just the actual castle itself and the breathtaking views but the actual wedding service inside the castle was beautiful too.  It had to be THE most emotional service I have photographed and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!  Becki especially was overwhelmed and got tearful and then her two beautiful boys came up to join the couple at the front of the room to unite as a family now Becki had become Mrs Grieve.

The couple and their friends and family are all over the moon with the results and I am one lucky lady getting to travel to this stunning castle and capture their amazing day! I even got to take my baby boy Magnus with me which you will see me below in action and my family all helped me with the travelling and babysitting, working mums!

Enjoy these memories of what was a beautiful wedding day!

Love Natalie xoxo
